This is one of our latest pictures. We had just finished cooking Sunday Dinner after church when Steve announced himself as my fiance!!!!

I'M ENGAGED!!!!!!
He sent me on a treasure hunt to some of the places we have gone on dates, including Ottavios where a man played the accordion especially for us, pier 49 where we had our first date, and the beautiful tabernacle on main street in Provo. He is sharing his car with me right now, so the best part of his plan is he sent me to the Wilkinson Student Center to get my second clue and while I was inside looking for my next clue he climbed inside the trunk. Grandma had called so he had to wait in the trunk a while and even heard some of our conversation, which was all about me telling her how much I loved him of course. Then I drove down to Ottavios and Pier 49. While I was getting my clue at Pier 49 he pushed the seat down and climbed out the back door. My last clue led me to the Tabernacle. I was walking all around in a field of snow looking for my clue, but I couldn't find it anywhere. I finally was just about to give up, so I turned around and there he was walking out from his hiding spot. I still didn't know he was going to propose because we just picked out the ring yesterday and he had to go to Filmore today, so there was absolutely no time to get the ring, but some how he had done it. I ran over to him thinking that he was my birthday present and I was so excited! Then he got down on his knee and pulled out a ring box, but didn't open it. I kept thinking, "There's no way that's my ring, no way." Then he told me how much he loved me and that he loved everything about and then asked if I Tausha Marie Barclay would marry him. Then he opened up the ring box and it was my ring, the one I wanted. I started to cry, a lot, and said, " Oh yes honey!!!!" Then we kissed, then he yelled out "Woo Hoo!" We were so excited and we were both hugging and kissing while kneeling down in the snow. Then he took the ring and put it on my finger and said, "I've been waiting for this for 23 years. It was so wonderful, creative and perfect. The most perfect birthday present ever!!!!! I am soooooo happy!!!!!!

I CUT MY HAIR!!!!!! This is what girls decide to do while the guys are gone deer hunting. We were looking at hair magazines to find a hair style for Lindsi, but instead, we found one for me. I wanted to cut it, but Stephanie said, "Maybe you should take a week to think about it." I said, "Let's do it now!" so we did!!!! I'm excited!

This is a picture of my Homecoming date, Steve, and I. The dance was so much fun. They had a live band that played big band type music. I felt like I had stepped into an old fashioned movie. We did the waltz, cha cha, fox trott, and kid swing! I absolutely loved it!

This past month has been one of the hardest months of my life. I have been trying to make the MOST important decision ever and was struggling with it quite a bit. I know that everybody is thinking, "well, Tausha just pulled another typical Tausha, run away bride," but I'm just trying so hard to do what is right! I just want to thank all of you for supporting me in all of my decisions. No matter what I kept choosing everyone kept supporting me. I love you all sooooo much and I can't thank you enough for all of your love and your prayers. THANK YOU!!!!
